Review the Road verge planting guidelines and then complete the New community plantings within the road verge checklist
All responses to the checklist questions must be yes for your proposal to comply.
Once you have submitted the completed checklist, with accompanying sketch of your proposed verge garden to Council, you may commence construction.
Requires evidence of consultation with neighbours.
It’s not clear what “Certificate of Currency (Public Liability Insurance) has been considered for my garden” actually means.

Note: City of Moreton Bay has been putting fake grass on median strips and roundabouts. The link above also has guidelines for residents putting artificial turf on parts of their verges.
This council changed from Moreton Bay Regional Council to City of Moreton Bay in 2023.
