Broken Hill City Council - Landscaping on Nature Strips Policy

Broken Hill's policy, "To allow residents and property owners the opportunity to beautify their nature strips by various landscaping works which comply with Council Regulations",  was adopted in 1996.

Although the policy says public liability insurance is required, that seems to be for contractors and organisations, not the individual householder looking after the nature strip in front of their property.

Inspection is required beforehand to ensure resident understands the policy, plans must be approved, and there is a second inspection at the end of the project.
